Swim and Dive - Girls

About our Program

As both an individual and team sport, the Bishop Blanchet Girls Swim and Dive program's team philosophy centers around three main principals: safety, progression and teamwork. Building camaraderie is what sports are all about. Beyond experiencing success, in the pool, we want all of our athletes within our program to feel valued as members of the team.

The team practices at the View Ridge Swim and Tennis center six days a week throughout the fall. Transportation to and from practices and meets is provided. Meets take place on Friday afternoons and are held at Seattle-area pools including Helene Madison, Evans, Ballard, Meadowbrook, Queen Anne, Medgar Evars and Rainier Beach.

The safety of our swimmers is our top priority. Our focus involves ensuring that our coaches are up to date with their coaching certifications, understand site emergency procedures, and properly supervise swimmers when they are in the pool. Our coaching staff works with all levels of swimmers to develop goals and a training program that challenges each swimmer to improve their technique, endurance and speed.
